WT, but definately cute

Check out those sexy legs!

Easter Festivities

I hope that all of you had a great Easter. We had some fun easter egg hunting, finding Easter Baskets on Easter Morning, and of course pondering the Atonement and giving thanks for the Resurrection.

I let the kiddies pick out their own baskets this year--hence the Batman Basket.I thought that the highlight of the baskets would be two gold fish--Thomas and Daisy--but the favorite was some easter stamps. Although the fish are starting to grow on them now.

I Do Dare

Despite some bold NO's , I decided to go with my fashion instincts on this one and go ahead and order these. So when you are at the Scera Pool this summer and you are wondering who the skinny, brown, muscley wonder is...just know it's J. And too my surprise Ben is on board too:) Last summer I hardly got him to wear underwear, so this is a step up. Jesse that is, not Ben.

Would I Dare?

I don't know if Ben would ever let me, but I think that these trunks would be so cute on J--easier to swim in too. Big baggy shorts seem so uncomfortable too me. What do you think?

That's My Guy...

Today we were driving in the car and Jesse and I had the following conversation:

"Hey Mom, look at the HUGE mountain. What's that big one called?"

"The big one in the back there is call Cascade Mountain."

"Cascade?"

"Yep, Cascade"

"Who put that Cascade Mountain there?"

"Well, I guess Jesus did. Jesus made the whole earth?"

"Why did Jesus put that Cascade Mountain there?"

"I don't really know for sure, but probably so that we would have something pretty to look at."

"No mom, Jesus didn't put it there to be pretty. He put it there so that we could drive our trucks on it. I like driving trucks on mountains."

Tell that to those that want to limit public land use!

Decisions, Decisions

When Ben and I bought our house one of my favorite parts was the kids bedrooms--the only problem is that the family we bought the house from had 4 girls and one boy, hence a bunch of girl rooms. So now we get to change a girl room to a boy room, and I can't decide which one.

So help me decide. Which room should I keep for Faith, or which is the cutest girl room? To help this is the furniture that I want to get.

Room #1 Faith's--Faith's current bedroom...

Room #2... Mind you, pictures aren't great, and this room has old handed down, not so cute furniture in it.

It's A Boy!

This morning the Family went to the Dr. and we are happy to announce that we are having a BOY!
So my dream was off, but the original inclination was on. I really didn't care what we were going to have, but I am excited for the ease of a boy--I still don't know what to do with Faith's hair. Plus it will be nice because both of my boys were born in the same seasons so I will have a lot of back-up clothes.

So now I get to come up with a cute boy nursery. If you see anything cute let me know. Can't wait to meet the little guy. Oh, and the name--as far as now is...

Don't Do the Dew

When ever we go out to eat Jesse has the unusual talent of picking out the drink that has the most caffine. Rather then teaching him that some drinks have caffine, which could be harmful to a tiny boy, I usually avoid the fight by putting in a smidge of whatever he picked out and then filling the rest up with Sprite--or any other beverage of a similar color.

Well tonight I might have been a little too generous with the Mountain Dew and I am hearing the effects. He is running around singing who knows what at the top of his lungs. Although I do recognize what might be a coyote howl, but I am not sure. I am just glad that Ben is putting him down and I am relaxing at the computer.

Lesson--don't do the Dew.

Going Public--For A Moment

Some of my family wants to check out my blog, but can't figure out the whole private thing so I am going to open up my blog until I help them figure it out.

If you are new to the blog and you want in let me know and I will add you to the list before I make it private again.

Thanks!

Faith Swims Part 2

I did another small clip of Faith so you can actually see what is going on.

J Swims too.

I just did a small clip on J so it would be in decent quality.

Faith Swims

Faith and Jesse have been in swimming lessons the last few weeks and they are both awesome. This video of Faith isn't great, but you get the idea. She can go from swimming to floating on her back all by herself.

Sun in Saint George

This weekend we did a somewhat last minute camping trip to Sand Hallow near Saint George. We drove down Friday night. Spent the first few hours getting our trailer and truck unstuck--we were buried down to all axles on both vehicles--luckily right when it happened a scout troop of about 20 12-year-olds showed up and and did their good service. Then two of my brothers rolled in with their families and we had a blast all Saturday. We played in the sand, rode J's Jeep, rhino, and 4ler--as he calls it, and did some good hiking on the red rocks. The kids loved playing with their cousins, Ben loved taking the rhino out, and I loved being in the warm sun. Needless to say we all got a little toasted by the end of the day.

And at the close of Saturday we decided to take a trip to the Entrada and have a little dip in the pool before we drove home. Well we weren't planning on swimming when I packed for the trip and I didn't have a swim diap or swimsuit for Faith, but I didn't think much of it because she had just taken a major poop about an hour before and she usually will mention a poop before it actually comes, plus I thought she would look cute topless and just Daisy Dukes ' at the pool. --You know where this is going don't you-- So then the worst moment of my motherhood happened. She pooped another big log while in the Jacuzzi. I ran and grabbed the net, told Ben to fish it out, then I ran in the Bathroom and got a bunch of paper towels to get rid of it. So unbelievably nasty. It was just my family in the Jacuzzi--luckily, but the other family at the pool just so happened to be some friends of ours from college. Now we are going to be remembered as the family that let their little girl poop in the pool.

So moral of the story--always put a swim diap in your baby regardless of her bowel movments that day (that way only you will know she pooped in the pool) and if you ever go to Entrada, avoid the indoor Jacuzzi.

Oh, and here are a few pics from Sand Hollow...
