Spring Soccer

Our family is beginning to change. I used to feel like I was surrounded by babies, but I have overnight turned into the "soccer mom". Now my days are filled with who needs to be where, when? Between preschool, dance, gymnastics, soccer and play dates, I no longer try to entertain myself and kids at home, but we are always on the go trying to fit it all in. It's fun. I like it, even though I will miss the lazy days at home.

Jesse started soccer this last week and has surprisingly really taken too it. I'm surprised because until a month ago he hasn't ever really touched a ball. He's more into things with wheels. But he's awesome. His whole team is aggressive and coordinated. Their only competition is each other. I think team sports are very influential and important so I'm happy he's excited and willing.

During the games we have the benefit of this as our backdrop. Not bad?

Wyatt and Faith like going to games as much as Jesse. Wyatt thinks he can play soccer too and Faith happily cheers her brother on. Everyone likes to cuddle daddy on the blanket too.

Wyatt likes to show his goofiness off too!
Life is good.

Spring Is Beginning to Sprung...

so our flower beds look like this

and we have been enjoying some of these. While "taking a suntan"---as Jesse says.

and playing some of this

all the while looking as cute as this

Spring has also inspire some back yard improvements that started like this

and have been slightly upgraded to this. Hopefully more sod to come soon.

and all of this makes us feel like this.

Happy Spring Everyone!

Me and My Pregnant Belly...

ran the Rex Lee 5k. I was slow, but ran the whole way. I felt good, just had to pee the whole time. I wonder why?
Ben, Lisa, and Steph ran it with me too. Too bad we didn't get a picture:(

Our Brilliant Boy

He knows all the answers. All he had to do is listen to the tone of my voice! I can get him to say "no" to or volunteer for anything.

Fat and Happy

I had decided that this may be my last time to have an excuse to get fat and happy so I thought I would take advantage of it. Still exercise regularly, but eat what I want and not really worry about it.

Well, my mom took me shopping the other day and after spending a day inf ront of the dressing room mirror I decided that might not be the best idea. I'm only 4 months and it was looking a little scary. Although I'm still convinced that all those mirrors where a little off, because I look far better in my mind then what the reflection was showing.

Incase mirrors don't lie I'm going to make a few adjustments. Not eat so much crap and do 5ks thoughout the summer till I deliver.

The first on the list is The Rex Lee run. I may have to walk a fair amount, but at least races will keep me motivated to keep moving and it will provide some sort of accountability. Plus I have a goal to run the Snow Canyon half in November, so it will get me ready for that, or at least I won't have to start from scratch.

Wish me luck, or better yet come do it with me!

Red Rock Desert Rampage

This last weekend we headed down to the Red Rock Rampage in St. George. This is the first race of the year and Ben was pumped. The weather was so nice and it was such a fun trip even though it just lasted a night. Next year me and Jesse will be racing with him.

All the while me and kiddos played in the dirt, skipped rocks, and swung from the back of the truck...and we cheered daddy on.

NIce Sunny Warm Day...

So we went to the park twice. And this little guy loved every second. He did slide after slide after slide. He's definitely my most daring little guy. No size or speed intimidates him.

He loved navigating the park all by himself.
This last weekend Ben and I headed down to Vegas so Ben could race his RZR in a WORCS race. He's never been to a race like this so it was a new fun experience. He doesn't think that his RZR has enough mods to compete (of course), but he had a good run and kept up with the pack anyways. He thinks he took 6th of about 12 in his division.

At the start line getting psyched!

Off the line

A nice pass.

It was a fun adventurous weekend. We met up with family in Vegas, stayed at THE Hotel, saw Ka-which was very cool, and I endured it all with a smile even though I suffered through the stomach flu all weekend.
