Back in August Wyatt became a model. The photographer that shoots for Naartjie did our my kiddos photos and they asked if Wy Guy would come to the shoot the next week. It was fun and a cool experience that we'll remember forever, even though it was a long hot day and kind of a pain. He was perfect for the first outfit, schmoozin the camera, but had a break down the second outfit, then we gave up before the third outfit.

The shots we got from the shoot

If you get their magazine look for him on pg. 13

Here's a few pics I took with my phone at the shoot.

Nakie, cooling off between the winter outfits.

Hannah Bear

Jess made me these cute cards to document Hannah's growth, so a few weeks ago I snapped a few pics. They're all pretty awful. Newborns are so hard to photograph for me. She's was either falling over, crying, making a crazy face, or wiggling. But she's still cute in them all, so I thought that I'd post a few before she turns two months on Tuesday!

Happy Birthdays!

I have so much blogging to catch-up on, but I had to say Happy Birthday to 3 of my favorite people. Ben, Jesse, and Nana all were born on the same day! How crazy is that?

First Jesse--He is so sweet and he oozes with goodness. This boy just wants to do what is right, which makes his momma's life really easy. Right now he loves to read, roam the neighborhood with friends, work on his break dancing, ride his bike, play soccer, swim, cuddle his baby sister, and he's quite the gymnast. He's smart, thoughtful and strong. This last week he had to give the scripture in primary and memorized the whole thing and said it perfectly. And just an example of his sweetness--today is my birthday and he woke-up came and cuddled me and told me happy birthday. Then Wyatt got up a few minutes later and he whispered in my ear, "I can hear Wyatt mom, I'll go play with him downstairs so you can keep sleeping." How sweet is that? Really the best present I could ask for right now. And he thought of it all on his own.
Ben: Is honestly more than I could ever dream of! In know it's nauseating when people blog about how great their husbands are, but it's his birthday! He too is kind, patient, thoughtful, and strong! He is running a marathon next weekend and two weeks ago he raced the Park City Point to Point ( a blog post to come soon) but it's a big deal! Requires endurance beyond what most consider human. Definitely not a sissy, run-of-mill race. It's been quite the training summer to say the least. He is also a great husband and dad, so helpful with everything that fits the description of a mother. He pitches in with everything and I want him to know that I really appreciate it. I couldn't do it without him and he makes it all not just bearable, but enjoyable. Not only that, but we have a lot of fun together--biking, riding motorcycles, going to football games, walks, watching movies, eating. It's great living life with him. Love you babe!
And last, but not least the Nana! She's out in the middle of the Mediterranean somewhere right now which makes me kind of hate her--no not really. She's lived a life as a valiant mother and daughter of God and she deserves all the enjoyment that this life has to offer! And to her that would be seeing the world. She's wise, classy, down to earth, a fabulous tickler and has been a model of greatness for me. One of her greatest qualities is what a great advocate she is for her kids. She truly sees each of us as our Heavenly Father does. No matter how awful we all were she only saw the best in us. I hope that I can someday become a smidgen of what she is.

So the kiddos started school a few weeks ago. It's been a little crazy having to be places at certain times, but a routine is nice.

Jesse is now a Kindergartner! Crazy. And deciding what class and what school to put him at has been a mess. Long story short, we put him in the public school and he got moved into the ALL day class at 9:00 night before school started. So he's gone from 8:10-4ish. And I miss him. I never thought I'd be a mom that is sad when my kids go to school, but I was really sad. Maybe because the change was so sudden and unexpected. But he loves it and says he feels like it's shorter then preschool. I asked him if he missed me, and he said "No, was I supposed to?" It's great too because he now has 3 boys in our neighborhood that are in his class. I'm just a little sad that my little family isn't so little anymore.
Faith and Wyatt are at Kids Village and they love it. Faith has made a lot new friends and Wyatt is doing great! When he comes home he says, "Mommy, school fun! I happy!"
( I did take the Mimeet (binky) out before he left.)

Wyatt Turns Two!

The Wy Man is now two! I know it was over two weeks ago. I am so behind, but I still want to acknowledge the day. Honestly we were so busy with Hannah and family in town for two weeks that I hardly thought about his birthday till it came. But come it did and we were ready to party! We went and got dinner at Pirate Island with a bunch of cousins and Wyatt had a ball. He hardly even had a bite of food he was too busy playing. He liked the rides the most, especially driving his sister on the the motorcycle.

Then after Pirate Island we came back to our place for cake, ice cream and presents. His favorite was his football shirt and football. He had to sleep in his jersey that night!
The Wy Guy has definitely grown up a lot the last few weeks. He talks non-stop and says everything. His mouth is a constant dialogue of everything he is doing and everything he is thinking. We call him the "OK Police" because he is always asking if everyone is ok. A kid falls at the park, Faith gets hurt, mom spills something, somebody says ow, he's the first one on the scene making sure you're OK. And he says it in the cutest little voice.

Happy Birthday Wy White. We love you more than you know. Keep being a dude!
