Photo Editing

Tonight I did my first dabbling in photoshop and after two hours of my nose in a book and guessing around on the key board I have figured out the photoshop is about as intuitive as calculus. But I do have to say that I am much more satisfied with what I was able to accomplish in photoshop as opposed to just iphoto. Here are some samples.

Original Photo

Editing in iphoto

Editing in Photo Shop

A little bit of both

A lot still to learn, but maybe I got my feet wet.

awesome. they look so so good. i love the last one the best. i wish i had photoshop, but it crashes our old computer:) maybe one of these days we'll get a "decent" computer, but until then i rely on free editing software. (i think you asked me what kind i use?) its in NO way as good as photoshop i hear, but it does ok. www.paint.net and flickr and photshop has some editing software right in them and they're free too, but again nothing like photoshop but i hear photoshop is pretty hard to use! anyway, they look good! keep on learning... he is SUCH a stud muffin.

Photoshop is so intimidating. Once I'm done with my class I'll have to come over and see if I can teach you something new.

I seriously don't know how people edit ALL their photos. I play with one photo for 2 hours in Photoshop and I quit. It is hard for me. I just keep thinking, maybe if I spend more money on an even better camera I won't have to edit. Unfortunately editing makes a big difference. Maybe someday I will figure it out :) Good Luck.
