A Run-In with Bambi

So Ben ditched the monster truck and got a little more civilized Tundra. The good news is I no longer need a fork lift to get into his car and I might be willing to drive his car every once in a while. The bad news is, it was only a sleek new car for about a day.

His car Thursday afternoon, the day after we picked it up...

His car Friday night after a deer decided to cross the street when it was dark and we were pulling a trailer. We came around a corner at about 65 and hit it maybe going 45. It was quite a smelly disaster.
Ben's not to worried though, he thinks it's the perfect excuse to get this new bumper. I think it might look a little Darth Vaderish, but what do I know?

I like the bumper too. Very mountain manish. What days do you go to Seven Peaks? I will keep my eyes peeled for ya next time we are there. We tend to go later in the day when its super hot, and Austin's all napped up. Just look for the prego whale in the kiddie pool and its probably me.

Glad everyone was okay! (well, except for the deer--sad). That's funny about the Darth Vaderish bumper.

Poor Ben, luckily he gets a new bumper out of it.

hey chels, i have painted furniture before. i've probably done everything you can do to furniture short of sawing it in half.

are you wanting to paint or stain or both? i saw a really cute 2 tone stained and painted dresser the other day. if you're doing a basic white, black or brown, lowe's has a paint specifically for the job. i think any old paint store would give you a good recommendation if you had another color in mind.

i'll see if i can find some cute pictures for you. what bedding did you decide on?
