During the closing prayer in sacrament meeting, Faith (in a very loud voice) pokes my belly and says, "Oooh, Mama, your belly is getting bigger." Then she decided to move up my torso, gives me a double poke and says, "Oooh Mama, your boobies are getting bigger!"

Thanks Faith for letting me know. Practically from the pulpit.

Baby Hoopes #4 is a Brewin'

I've been doing a lot of updating today, but the most exciting news is we're having another baby! He/she is due Aug 1st, putting me at 12 1/2 weeks. The past six weeks have been mostly miserable, but we got through it and luckily most of the family still loves me (barely). And this past week the good moments are lasting a lot longer. So I have high hopes that the awfulness is coming to an end.

Yes, I am already showing a lot. Yesterday I announced the pregnancy in relief society and everyone came up and said things like, "You've been looking like you are pregnant." So yes, I'm tired, have awful complexion, and have a pudgy belly and bum.

But no worries. It's all worth it and the second trimester is typically good to me. I can exercise more, eat food that is healthy rather then just sounding edible, and I get the beautiful smooth skin I always dream of.

We are excited to welcome a new little one to the brood. Some days I think I'm crazy for thinking I can handle it. But I'm pretty sure this one's our last, so I think it will make it easier to savour every moment--even the not so pretty pregnancy part.

New Years 2009

We decided to slip down to St. George for the holiday in hopes of a little sunshine and warmth. And the weather turned out pretty good. Ben biked a lot, me and the kiddos swam in the hot tub, and the rest of the time was spent going for hikes and playing on the red rock.

As for New Years Eve...we went to bed at 9. Party poopers I know, but midnight has never been my thing.

Faith's 1st Dance Recital

Faith had her first dance recital back in December and it was a hoot! She loved getting dressed and couldn't wait to go on stage. She got a little confused when she got our there, but it was so much fun to watch.

A few pictures before she got her costume on.
Emma Hart, Haven Wright, and Faith. Faith's best friends.

Here is the performance. Horrible filming warning!

Christmas 2009

The Christmas season was filled with gingerbread house making, Christmas parties, sitting on Santa's lap, school Christmas programs, seeing family and friends, skiing, a night in Bethlehem, had 37 people over for a Christmas Eve dinner, reading Christmas stories, PRESENTS, and of course feeling the Spirit of Christ strong.

I tell my kiddos they can ask Santa for one thing that they want the most, and these were the winners this year.

It was a lot of fun, although the slower pace of life in January is refreshing.
