Sleeping Beauty

A few weeks ago I went to go peek all the kids and found Faith like this. Found a sleeping mask and put it on all by herself without anyone prompting her. She is a dreaming princess!

Jesse's First Mtn Bike Race

J had his first Mtn Bike race today at Solider Hollow and he was awesome! He came in 3rd behind a 10 yr. old and an 8 yr. old. He smoked all the other kids that were close to him in age. Best part is he had a lot of fun and can't wait to do it again. I was one proud mama! Good job buddy.

Ranch w/ the Galland Boys

The Ranch is probably my favorite place on earth. And going with Gary's family makes it paradise. Their 5 boys adore my kids and my kids adore them. In fact, Faith insists that Braydon is her boyfriend. We spent 3 days enjoying all that the ranch has to offer...

The highlight was getting to be there when Mason opened his mission call--Budapest, Hungary! It was so great to see a missionary read his call and all the blessings that are promised to him. It was fun for the kids to see how it all works too. Hungary? Man who would have guessed. I am sure that he has unnumbered adventures awaiting him. We are so excited for him and are excited to be praying for a missionary that we know and love so much.
Wyatt on the back deck manning the hose,

Jodie was Faith's special friend the whole trip. Colored with her, played games, let her turn the pages while she read...Jodie is as good as aunts get. In fact today Jesse and Faith were fighting about who Jodie is nicer too.

Jodie is so nice, she bought Jesse some ranch appropriate western ware. Boots, hat and shirt--which he wore the entire vacation. So the next day we took Faith and Wyatt into town to join in the fun. BTW cowboy boots are the best for the ranch. The kids can get them on and off by themselves, they keep your feet clean, and they save you from engine burns on all the ATV's.

Faith taking a ride with Kollin. Isn't she a lucky girl.

Some documentation of this pregnancy. This week at my Dr appointment I'm going to have them do another ultrasound to make sure that Hannah isn't in my bum! (I think it's bigger than my belly!)

Jesse is an RZR demon! It scares me. He's got some madd drifting skills.

I think Wyatt's feet hardly touched the ground. He'd say, "A Ride?" and some big boy would pick him up and zoom him around for awhile. Have I mentioned how thankful I am for my kids cousins? Especially when I am 8 months pregnant?

Racing out of the forrest.

The handsome Ben on Father's Day. Happy Father's day babe!

Pretty Girl
Cute Cowgirl
WyGuy is following the Hoopes kids tradition and developing some serious passions. Not unlike his brother he likes trucks, tractors, and "cycles." And he prefers to have several in his hands at times.
Jesse learned to ride a 4-ler.
Fashionable Faith thought her shirt looked cuter tied at the bottom.

I sat around most of the time and just watched all the action, played a lot of games, and enjoyed the company.
Playing on the playground
And Ben spent a good chunk of Father's day cleaning up and packing up. He's a good man, even on his supposed to be lazy day.

It was such a great weekend. Thanks to my parents for sharing such a beautiful place with us, and thanks to Gary for taking lots of pictures. I didn't even take one:( But its a good thing that Gary took over 200 just of my kiddos.

Camping in Bryce

Over the holiday we headed down to the Bryce Canyon area for a little camping trip with family and cousins. My brother is building a cabin down there so we all just camped on his land. Bryce is amazing! I can't believe that I have lived in Utah for 27 years and have never been to Bryce. Seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Not to mention that the recreation is limitless. Hundreds of miles of breathtaking hiking, biking, and off-road trails. Just our kind of place.

Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera, but we caught a couple pictures on our phone.

On the rim of Bryce Canyon on a very windy day. Ben carried Faith basically the entire 3 mile hike. And Wyatt was fortunate enough to catch a ride on the shoulders of his Papa and Uncle most of the way.

It was a fun hike with switch backs all the way down the canyon and then looped back up. Faith thought that the whole place was filled with castles and there might have been a dragon lurking behind any corner. I thought it was an accurate description:)

On the edge of the Paunsaugant Cliffs after a long RZR ride. Pines and red rock are an amazing pair.

Chasing dragons

And when we weren't on a trail we were riding around the camp, playing with cousins, catching horny toads, roasting s'mores, driving monster trucks in the dirt, eating Otter pops and throwing rocks.
We made lots of great memories and had a lot of fun. Thanks to Adam and Emily and their hospitality:)

Disneyland May 2010

A few weeks ago there were some extra seats on the business flight to southern California, so I invited Karen along with me and the kids to have a fun day at Disneyland. It was great. The weather was nice, lines weren't awful, and Karen was able to take the kids on all the rides that my pregnant belly or Wyatt couldn't go on.

Wyatt and Karen on the Jungle Boat
Faith was really embarrassed to see Jasmine because her face was dirty. That's why she's hiding in the corner.
Wy White and his cousin Matthew, who I think Wyatt looks so much like.

Munching on an apple while the big kids go on Thunder Mountain

Faith in Minnie's house
Right after this picture Minnie tried to kiss Wyatt and it freaked him out. He liked her, he just didn't want her to touch him.

About to go into Small World. My new favorite. It is so cute and fun. This was Wyatt's first trip to Disneyland and he loved it. Especially this ride. He was wide eyed all day and quite brave. He loved Pirates of the Caribbean.
Karen and the boys. Jesse was so excited that Karen got to come. He wanted to sit by her on every ride.

It was a great day with a lot of magical memories!

Graduation 2010

School is over! Its nice not to have a schedule. Today we woke up, leisurely ate breakfast, cleaned and played. Although I am sure summer will get old, it'll be nice to have nothing to do for awhile (although gymnastics, dance and swim are starting up, so it'll get pretty busy, but not too busy). We'll enjoy it while we can.

Last week was the kids graduation. The school does and little singing program, then after the kids are presented with a diploma and they even get to toss their caps. I never got to do that, I thought that was just for the movies. It was cute and fun despite Wyatt running around like crazy. This is Jesse's last year at Kids Village, so it was a little bittersweet. Next year he's off to Kindergarten.

Getting ready to sing. And Yes, he's a head taller then his entire class.

And this is a picture of them on "Wacky Wednesday." Each day of the last week is themed. I think Faith won the contest!

I'm proud of you kiddos. Your teachers love you and you learned a lot. Jesse's now a fantastic reader. It's a pleasure to be your mom.
